Village 7% Abadi YEIDA Plots
These plots are provided as compensation for the land acquired by YEIDA, constituting 7% of the total land acquisition. They are also known as 7% Plots Yamuna Expressway or 7% Farmer Quota Plots associated with the Yamuna Expressway.
YEIDA (Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority) has announced plans to allocate 7% of “abadi” (residential) plots to farmers whose land has been acquired for development. This initiative aims to prevent encroachment, reduce displacement, and maintain the farmers’ ties to their villages.
The plots will be assigned to those farmers affected by YEIDA’s land acquisition. They are similar to the farmer quota plots previously established in Noida and Greater Noida.
While the primary purpose of these plots is residential, 50% of the area may be utilized for certain commercial activities that receive YEIDA’s approval, such as guest houses, clinics, or coaching centres. The plots will be located near the villages of the farmers who receive them.
